More Than A Name...
A Blueprint!
Dr. Walter Olatunde is more than a name. He is a blueprint. A dream that rose into steel, soared into service, and settled into the hearts of thousands. A medical doctor turned social infrastructure developer par excellence, Walter’s life is a testament to the extraordinary that emerges when vision meets purpose. From hospital wards to highway corridors, from mentoring minds to moving mountains, this is the story of a man who dared to heal systems, not just people
1. Dreamer
It Began With...
A Vision!
“It began with a vision… and changed the future.”
Before the blueprints, before the bridges, there was a dream.
Dr. Walter began his journey in the halls of UNILAG, where he earned his MBBS degree. But he soon realized that medicine alone couldn’t mend the fractures he saw in society. His heart stirred toward a higher calling — not just to heal individuals, but to build systems that sustain life.
He honoured his Hippocratic avowals in the hollowed halls of Jon-Ken Hospitals and successfully led Sarkis Nigeria Limited’s entry into the Nigerian medical consumables market, establishing a robust sales team and creating a thriving market across the country.— a bold fusion of healthcare, enterprise, and engineering. Harvard School of Public Health refined his lens… Nigeria gave him his mission.
“We can treat people. But we must also treat our systems.”
His dream? To reimagine development as medicine. To build the arteries of a functioning nation.
